Love coming to this place on my trips to Toronto, they’re open late which seems to always be what I need and the food is delicious! I’ve been on two occasions, the first time I got the chicken katsu with curry and the second time I got the chicken katsu with carbonara. Both were very wholesome and comforting meals. The only critique I would make is that the curry and carbonara both made the chicken panko a little soggy, so I would maybe recommend getting it on the side, not poured over on or under the chicken. Having that crisp chicken throughout the entire meal would make the difference! The side of cabbage slaw, rice, pickled daikon, and miso soup are the perfect sides as well! 100% recommend and I always look forward to going back!

Sweet Chili Chicken Katsu was way too spicy and not that sweet (for my personal taste), but it was still really good and it was still enjoyable and tasty. Employees were nice!

Great first visit. Ordered the original loin katsu set, tenderloin curry, and red bong chicken wings. We liked the tenderloin so much we ordered an extra katsu and added their original crispy chicken on top. Will return to get their pork tenderloin katsu. Delicate and crispy panko crumb and a beautifully moist and flavourful piece of pork. Worth eating. Would ask for more ground sesame, too. Excellent all together.

This place is a GEM . Came after a concert and found this gem open late at night. Ended up eating here 3 times during our 1 week stay!!!! The Tonkotsu was freshly cooked. The crispiness combined with the sauce is just right. If you like spicy, the TOOWOOMBA (if I remember it right) sauce is very refreshing and surprisingly good.

I love the ambience! The staff was very friendly and respectful. It took 15 mins or less to get our meals. And it was really tasty. I enjoyed every bit of it. I'm also pleasantly surprised at how full I got half way through my meal. If you're looking for a place to get authentic Japanese food, that is worth every dollar and freaking good. This is the place for youDon't just take my word for it, give it a try :) (Sidenote: I'm from Sask, this is my first time in Toronto.. so the experience I had here was pretty cool! Shoutout the 2 gentlemen and lady who assisted us when we dined here. You guys are awesome ! )

Absolutely incredible katsu in an unassuming minimalist space. Both of our katsu dishes were steaming hot when served, with a delicious perfectly crisp crust. Curry sauce had nice flavour, Japanese style, not spicy. Takoyaki was fresh and covered with katsuobushi. Simple, casual dining room but comfortable. Great place to relax and chat with friends over dinner. Good for smaller groups. Friendly service, priced well. Excellent Japanese find on Yonge St.

I was missing the North York location so I decided to come visit this one and the taste is good, same as I remember. Went during happy hour and had a great meal with refills included on sides! Hope to go back again sometime soon!

Overall really enjoyed my tonkatsu here. I ordered the karage wings and the tenderloin tonkatsu with demiglas sauce. Both were good. 2 things to note: 1) the menu has no photos. Made it a bit harder to pick what I want. 2) maybe consider ordering the sauce on the side cause time is definitely ticking once that sauce is on on the meat. The breading gets soaked pretty quick.
